The "Windows" Key

Here are several simple shortcuts using the "Windows" key. The key, as seen here on the right, is usually on the lower row of your keyboard. Take a minute to try these now and you'll speed up your work in the future!

"Windows" D - Minimize all windows and clear the "Desktop"

Hitting Windows-"D" again will restore the windows to their previous state.

"Windows" E - "Explorer" ...brings up a Windows Explorer window.

"Windows" F - "Find" all files and folders

"Windows" Tab - Cycle through the icons on the Task Bar
